A factory medical officer must be qualified as a physician (MD) and may require an Associate Fellow of Industry Health (AFIH) certification for factories involving hazardous processes. The nurse must be registered and qualified as either graduated from a three-year General Nursing and Midwifery program (GNM) or a B.Sc. Nursing Program. All credentials are verified prior to the placement of healthcare staff.
